eStatements/eMessenger

What is eMessenger?

eMessenger is a free service provided to you by your Credit Union.

Sign up for eMessenger to receive customized updates about your Credit Union accounts sent directly to your email box or mobile device. You choose the email address or device, the type of account information you’d like to receive, and the frequency. We’ll do the rest. Just follow the brief instructions to sign up and you’re on your way.

What kind of messages can I choose from?

  • eStatements:
    Receive notification that your monthly Credit Union statement is ready to be viewed inside Online Banking.* eStatements will save you time and paper! You'll have access to your statement as soon as it’s available.
  • eMessenger Alerts:
    eMessenger allows you to receive account alerts for:
    • Payroll deposits
    • Account balance changes
    • Loan balance changes
    • Loan payment due dates
    • Certificate maturity
    • Cleared checks
    • Insufficient funds
    • Debit/Credit card transactions

    Please notify the Credit Union immediately if you do not recognize a transaction.

 

To sign up for eStatements or eMessenger Alerts, log in to Online Banking from the top right of this page, open the slider menu (3 horizontal lines on the upper left of the screen) and select “eMessenger,” and try it today!  

 

*Members who sign up for eStatements will no longer receive paper statements in the mail.

 

FAQs

How do I sign up for eMessenger?

Follow these four, easy steps to start receiving your eMessages today!

STEP #1 – Activate eMessenger

  • Enter your User Name and Online Banking Password.
  • Open the slider menu (3 horizontal lines on the upper left of the screen) 
  • Click on eMessenger/eStatements from the menu.
  • Review and agree to the eMessenger User Agreement and confirm your primary email address.
  • Click ‘Subscribe’ to activate eMessenger.
  • You will receive notifications when your eStatement is available.

STEP #2 – Tell eMessenger where to deliver the messages.

  • Enter your primary email address (you may enter others at step 4). The primary email is where your activation code will be sent immediately.

STEP #3 – Activate eMessenger

Your activation code is immediately sent to the primary email address provided in Step 1. You have 3 choices for activation:

  • Activate Now – Copy/Paste or retype your Activation code and choose Activate Now.
  • Activate Later – you can sign on later and enter your activation code then proceed to the next step.
  • Send Again – choose this option if you did not receive the email containing the activation code and we will send it again.

STEP #4 – Choose Your eMessages

  • To sign up for eStatements:
    1. Choose the eStatements tab at the top of the screen.
    2. Review User Agreement.
    3. Choose which email address the eStatement should be sent to.
  • To choose your eMessages:
    1. Choose the Alerts tab at the top of the screen.
    2. Select Account Alerts from the drop down options.
    3. Select Add New and select the type of eMessage you want to receive and the email address and/or mobile phone that you want the messages sent to, then click Continue.
    4. The screen will prompt you to choose frequency, set parameters for when the message should be sent, and more.
  • To add additional email addresses or mobile phones:
    1. Choose eMail Addresses at the top of the screen.
    2. Choose Add New.
    3. Repeat activation step 3 listed above.

If I sign up for eStatements, will I still receive a monthly hard copy of my statement in the mail?

No. The great thing about eStatements is that they will be accessible through Online Banking whenever you want. If you want to save a hard copy, all you have to do is print one out!

How do I stop the eMessenger service?

  • Sign on to Online Banking.
  • Open the slider menu (3 horizontal lines on the upper left of the screen) 
  • Click on the eMessenger/eStatements link from the menu.
  • Choose the Cancel Service tab on the top of screen.

How many email addresses can I use?

You can use a total of 4 different email addresses.

Will my email address be kept confidential?

How up-to-date is the information I will be receiving via eMessenger?

You set the frequency with which you receive the messages.

Can I use my cell phone to retrieve information?

Yes. When adding email addresses, you will see another place to add addresses for mobile devices.

How much does eMessenger cost?

eMessenger is a free service provided exclusively to Credit Union Members.

How do I make changes to the eMessages I have already set?

  • Sign on to Online Banking.
  • Open the slider menu (3 horizontal lines on the upper left of the screen) 
  • Click on the eMessenger/eStatements icon from the menu.
  • Choose the Alerts tab at the top of the screen.
  • Select Account Alerts from the drop down options. You will see a list of all your eMessages already set up.
  • To delete an eMessage, check the box to the left of the eMessage and click the Delete button.
  • To edit an eMessage, click on the name of the eMessage, make your changes, and then click Save.

How do I know that my eMessage is active?

Look for the bell icon next to your activated eMessages.

What program can I view my eStatements in?

You will need Adobe Acrobat version 5.0 or higher to view your eStatement. Download a free version of Acrobat now.
