IBMSECU is 49! On September 17, 1969, IBMSECU was founded by a group of IBM employees who each deposited a quarter. On our 49th anniversary, we thank all of our members, volunteers, and employees for making our Credit Union what it is today!

*The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and other agencies recommend that your personal records be kept for seven (7) years. After making a list of the information to destroy, personal records should be safely destroyed in a manner that makes the information unusable. Each individual is allowed up to ten (10) standard size bankers boxes of paper materials at a time for shredding. Certified document  destruction shredding service offered to IBMSECU members through AAA Security Shredding, a non-affiliated, third-party service provider for IBMSECU. Free shredding service available for paper documents only; binders, books, carbon paper, cardboard, computer disks, computer tapes, credit cards, debit cards, floppy discs, magazines, microfiche, microfilm, newspapers, notebooks, phone books, security cards, transparencies, video tapes, x-rays, and other nonpaper items will not be accepted. By participating in the free shredding service, you agree to hold the credit union harmless from all liability. Identity Theft Protection and Credit Monitoring programs offered through Merchants Information Solutions, Inc., a non-affiliated third-party provider for IBMSECU; Credit Union checking account required for program participation.
