IBMSECU’s Southeast Credit Union Foundation Offers Scholarship Program

Local Credit Union Gives Community Opportunity to Apply and Win Scholarship

 

IBM Southeast Employees’ Credit Union's Southeast Credit Union Foundation strongly believes in investing in the success of young minds. The SECU Scholarship Program is just one way they give back to the community.  The student scholarships that will be awarded will give students the assistance and motivation to further their education.

The mission of the Southeast Credit Union Foundation is to improve the lives of children and families in the communities we serve. All proceeds raised from their annual School Ready Days, Virtual 5k and Jingle Bells in the Branches and other fundraising events will be donated directly to the foundation and used to support their causes like local scholarship awards and school supplies for children in need.

The 2018 SECU Scholarship Program Application deadline is Monday, April 30, 2018. Graduating high school seniors or currently enrolled college or trade school students can apply by writing an essay or creating a video that describes your career goals. Further your education today and apply.

The Southeast Credit Union Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization registered in the state of Florida.

Stephen Johnson, Director of the Southeast Credit Union Foundation stated, “We believe education is the key to a bright future. We want to make college accessible to those who may not be able to afford it. Giving back to the communities we are in is so important to us. We can’t wait award these scholarships to deserving students.”
