IBMSECU Attends 26th Annual SHRM-Atlanta HR Conference, Local Credit Union Helps Build Brilliance
IBM Southeast Employees’ Credit Union recently attended and exhibited at the 26th
HR Conference on March 29-30th
, at the Cobb Galleria Centre. The conference offered HR professionals and Credit Union employee’s cutting-edge educational content and the opportunity to create valuable relationships with industry peers.
Serving the Human Resources profession for over 65 years, SHRM, Society for Human Resources Management, offers comprehensive resources that enhance the effectiveness of applicants, strategically partners with stakeholders and business leaders, and helps develops careers.
“We believe that exhibiting at the conference and participating in SHRM’s innovative and career-advancing educational sessions can not only benefit our employees but our Members as well,” said IBMSECU HR Manager, Connie Ashley. “IBMSECU believes that learning from industry leaders can give us a better insight on the latest HR trends which in turn can only make working here better.”
The theme of the 2016 conference was Building Brilliance
. All attendees were asked to think about building brilliance and what they were going to take back to their team and then implement in their departments. IBMSECU’s booth #303 was very well received and won most creative booth for a second year in a row. Building blocks that were on display at their booth were given to a local daycare associated with Turner Chapel AME Church in Marietta, GA that provides free childcare for young mothers who are still in high school.

Employees Relations, Employee Wellness, Global, Law and Legislation, Talent Acquisition and Management, and Total Rewards.
