Primary Function: Develop member account relationships and resolve/process account inquiries by assisting members via telephone and e-mail in a professional, prompt and efficient manner.  Maintain full knowledge of all credit union products and services and promotions for the purpose of educating members and obtaining new accounts, certificates, checking accounts, and all other opportunities affecting the membership.

Job Duties:

  • Deliver products and services to meet members’ financial needs by cross selling and referring at each touch point.
  • Provide members with the most recent accurate information about the credit union features and benefits.

Primary Function:   Upon receipt of an Approved / Eligible mortgage application review mortgage applications, and provide financial counseling. Oversee mortgage processing by ordering, collecting, validating required. Documents and services required for underwriting approval.  Facilitate and coordinate timely closing of loans that meet or exceed member expectation. Explain and cross-sell all Credit Union products and services to members.

Job Duties: 
Responsible for overall processing of mortgage loans while assuring compliance with all requirements set by Credit Union/Investor policies and procedures. Analyze files to determine most efficient and accurate manner in which to attain approval. 

Provide financial counseling to members as needed, and answer questions about real estate programs provided by the credit union.

Verify applications for completeness, conduct credit investigation, determine credit worthiness and debt ratio. Authority limits for consumer loan approval is $20,000 for unsecured, $50,000 for secured, and $100,000 for real estate loans. This includes second mortgage loan applications made at branch offices.

Deny loan applications out of conformance with credit union policies. Prepare necessary notifications and forms. Refer rejected loans to Credit Committee as needed. Discuss denials with members as outlined by policy. Document loan denials. Refer loans beyond limits to Loan Manager or Loan Review Committee.

Explain funding procedures and review payment schedule ensuring member understands repayment obligations. Finalize underwriting conditions to clear loan for closing.

Prepare closing package and review post-closing files to ensure completeness of all regulatory and compliance issues and coordinate closing with member and title company.

 

Primary Function: Provide leadership and direct staff with overall sales, service and educational operations of a full-service Operations Branch.  Maintain service excellence, optimal product sales growth and effective e-commerce education.  

 

Job Requirements: Job requires a four year college level of language, math and reasoning skills and three or more years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.  Formal position training should be supplemented with continuing education.  

Job Duties:

  • Direct daily branch operations.Supervise the security of branch operations.Implement and execute all management approved decisions.
  • Monitor and recommend improvements in areas of daily operations & productivity.
  • Assign workflow to ensure excellent service to the membership and to reduce OT. Responsible for providing additional coverage where needed to meet departmental goals.
  • Supervise the lending process within the branch adhering to authority limits established in the Loan Policy.
  • Establish Sales Goals for branch staff.
  • Provide analysis of reviews to focus on ways to improve products and services.Ensure product acceptability through continuous focus on competition.
  • Develop department budget consistent with strategic plan and overall CU budget.
  • Coordinate and support a comprehensive employee learning and development program that enhances knowledge, skills, and performance of the individual.
  • Provide recommendations for hiring, terminations, promotions, transfers, performance appraisals, training and development, and interpretation of credit union rules and policies.Conduct all personnel functions in accordance with applicable statues as provided by Human Resources.
  • Prepare standardized reports and develop customized reports as directed by management.
  • Maintain all branch compliance audits are complete.
  • Act as backup for all branch positions.
