June 16, 2009 - Boca Raton, FL: IBM Southeast EFCU Board of Directors Appointment William (Bill) R. Tracy, a Member of the Board of Directors of IBM Southeast Employees’ Federal Credit Union for close to 30 years, passed away on May 3, 2009. Mr. Tracy’s death is a great loss to the Credit Union and he will be missed. When Bill was elected to the Board of Directors, the Credit Union had just over $20 million in assets. During Bill’s tenure on the Board, the assets grew to over $750 million. Bill’s leadership in strategic planning was a major contributor to the Credit Union’s growth and success. The Board has appointed Brad J. DeBauche to fill Mr. Tracy’s position. Mr. DeBauche previously served as the Chairperson of the Board’s Supervisory Committee, a position he has held since August 2000. Mr. DeBauche will continue to serve on the Supervisory Committee, with Mr. Peter Blacklock now serving as Chairperson. IBM Southeast EFCU, headquarted in Boca Raton, FL, was established in 1969. It currently has 22 branches in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, close to $800,000,000 in assets and 85,000 Members.
