November 9, 2006 - Boca Raton, FL: IBM Southeast EFCU President Elected to CUES Board Lary McCants, President/CEO of IBM Southeast Employees’ Federal Credit Union was recently elected to serve on the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES) Board of Directors. McCants’ three-year term will begin on November 13th, 2006, after the CUES annual business meeting. In response to the election of McCants and two additional board members, Rose Bartolomucci, chairman, CUES Board of Directors, said, “We are proud to have these dedicated people serving with us. Their experience, hard work and talent will play a significant role in helping CUES and our members successfully lead in today’s financial marketplace.” McCants joined IBM Southeast Employees’ Federal Credit Union in 1988 as Executive Vice President of Operations and has served as President/CEO since 1993. Prior to joining IBM Southeast EFCU, McCants worked for IBM Corporation in Boca Raton, Florida for 21 years. McCants currently serves on the Florida Credit Union Shared Services Board of Directors and is also a member of the Florida Credit Union League Governmental Affairs Committee.
