February 10, 2006 - Boca Raton, FL: IBM Southeast EFCU Congratulates Wendell Blakeley, Edison Cervantes, and Joan Santiago on Their Promotions IBM Southeast Employees’ Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotions of three long-term employees. Wendell Blakeley has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Operations, Edison Cervantes to the position of Vice President of Information Technology and Joan Santiago to the position of Vice President of Operations Support. Wendell Blakeley, formerly Senior Vice President of Technology, has served the Credit Union for 22 years. His promotion to Executive Vice President of Operations expands his role to manage the areas of Information Technology, Operations Support and Branch Operations. After almost 16 years of service to the Credit Union, Ed Cervantes assumes the role of Vice President of Information Technology from the position of Information Technology Director. Reporting to Ed are the Departments of Information Technology, Information Operations, and IS Administrative Support. Joan Santiago has spent 11 years working at IBM Southeast EFCU and is now broadening her responsibilities from Card Services Manager to become Vice President of Operations Support. Joan will now oversee the departments of Card Services, Electronic Processing, and the Call Center. IBM Southeast EFCU’s primary goal is to exceed Members’ expectations. These promotions will help organize the Credit Union to deliver Service Excellence more efficiently to the Membership.
