Why do I have to upgrade my browser?
IBM Southeast EFCU is very proactive in keeping our web site safe and secure for Members. Using a 128-bit browser is one of the ways our site will remain on the cutting edge of security.

How do I know what kind of browser I have?
Go to help at the top of your browser screen, click on help, then choose About Internet Explorer or About Netscape to check to see if you already have a 128-bit encrypted browser. We recommend use of Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher or Netscape 6.2 or higher. Access a free upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer or Netscape.

What if I forgot my password?

How do I sign off Online Banking?
Click on the Log Off icon on the upper right side of your screen.

What kind of Internet Browser should I use for Online Banking?
Our website is compatible with 128-bit encrypted browsers. We recommend use of Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher or Netscape 6.2 or higher.

Online Bill Paying FAQs

Can I make transfers from one of my accounts to another?
Yes. From the upper left corner of the home page, log on to Online Banking with your Member Number or User Name and password. Select the Transfer icon at the top of the page (Second from the left). Choose accounts to transfer from and to, then enter amount to be transferred and your PIN.

Can I make transfers from one of my accounts to another Credit Union Member's account?
Yes. From the upper left corner of the home page, log on to Online Banking with your Member Number or User Name and password. Select the Transfer icon at the top of the page (Second from the left). Choose accounts to transfer from. Enter the other Credit Union Member's account number and select account that funds should be transferred to, then enter your PIN.

Can I view a previous month's statement via Online Banking?
Yes. From the upper left corner of the home page, log on to Online Banking with your Member Number or User Name and password. Select the Statement icon at the top of the page (sixth from the left). Choose the statement period you want to view. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click next. Enter your PIN/Password and click Finish. The statement you selected will appear and can be printed. This is a free service.

Can I update my contact information online?
Yes. From the upper left corner of the home page, log on to Online Banking with your Member Number or User Name and password. Select the More icon at the top of the page (fourth from the right). Select the Change Information icon.

How do I apply for a loan online?
From the upper left corner of the home page, log on to Online Banking with your Member Number or User Name and password. Select the Loans icon at the top of the page (fifth from the right). Click the blue Apply For Loan button and follow the prompting instructions.

Can I open an account online?
Yes. From the upper left corner of the home page, log on to Online Banking with your Member Number or User Name and password. Select the Accounts icon at the top of the page (first from the left). Click the blue Open New Accounts button in the upper left corner of the page and follow the prompting instructions.

How do I do a stop payment online?
From the upper left corner of the home page, log on to Online Banking with your Member Number or User Name and select the More icon at the top of the page (fourth from the right). Click the Stop Payment button. Follow the prompting instructions.

Can I view my yearly tax information online?
Yes. From the upper left corner of the home page, log on to Online Banking with your Member Number or User Name and select the More icon at the top of the page (fourth from the right). Click the Tax Information icon for details about year to date interest earned, mortgage loan interest paid, non-mortgage loan interest paid and withholding amount for the current and previous years.

Can I change my Online Banking password online?
Yes. From the upper left corner of the home page, log on to Online Banking with your Member Number or User Name and select the More icon at the top of the page (fourth from the right). Click the Change Password icon and follow instructions.

 
 

Mobile Banking

How can I access my accounts from my web-enabled phone or PDA?
You can now easily and securely access your accounts, check rates, and find ATM or Branch locations from your mobile device. Simply enter https://mobile.ibmsecu.org into your cell phone or PDA.

Account access through Mobile Banking uses the same login as Online Banking, and all of your data is protected with the highest level of encryption available today. 

Mobile Banking is a FREE service to all of our Members, however please check with your wireless carrier regarding charges for web-enabled services.

Quicken & MS Money FAQs

What services does IBM Southeast EFCU support?
Both Quicken and Money are supported with the following types of connections:

Direct Connect - The fastest and easiest way to connect to your IBM Southeast EFCU accounts. From within Quicken and Money you can track your accounts and even transfer between your accounts with the Credit Union.

Web Connect - Update your accounts by downloading the new QFX (Quicken) or OFX (Money) file type from the IBM Southeast EFCU Online Banking page directly into your Quicken or Money program.

QIF Download - This older file format is still supported by the IBM Southeast EFCU. You can continue using this format to update any pre-2002 versions of Quicken or Money.

Are there any fees for Direct Connect, Web Connect or other download options?
No.

Is Bill Pay in Online Banking supported?
No. Any references to bill-payment within Quicken or Money are not affiliated with the IBM Southeast EFCU.

What do I need to begin?

  • Any 2003+ version of Quicken or Money
  • An internet connection
  • Your Member number and PIN from Online Banking (must change to 8 digits)
  • The IBM Southeast EFCU routing number (267077627)
  • Your account number format should be member number-account type (i.e. 40001234-S50)
