What differentiates our mortgages from those of other financial institutions?

60-day rate lock-in during processing with float
    down feature.*
     Our competitors typically offer a 30-45 day lock-in timeframe.
     If they offer a 60-day lock-in period, their customers typically
     pay a fee for this feature. Not only does the float down
     feature lock-in the rate, but it also carries the added benefit
     of a possible rate decrease of 0.25% if market rates go down
     during the processing timeframe.

     *After you have paid your $350 application fee and have a sales contract
      (on a purchase) you may lock-in your interest rate.

Our mortgages are not subject to intangible tax. On a $100,000 loan, the
savings can be up to $300 in Georgia and $200 in Florida.

The Credit Union will never sell the mortgage servicing. Our Members
will never be switched over to a new mortgage company.

A mortgage at the Credit Union gives our Members Gold REWARDS.
     Members benefit from having no Credit Union ATM fees, Checking and Money
     Market accounts with no minimum balance fees, and free or reduced fees on
     many other services.

We do not charge extra fees/higher interest rates on a loan without
     escrow. On a waived escrow loan, our competitors typically charge a higher
     interest rate (up to .25%) or they charge a one-time fee (about $500 on a
     $200,000 loan).

First Mortgage rates vary based on your personal situation. If you would like to determine your most accurate loan rate based on your specific needs, please use our Loan Consultant.
